Project Overview:
The Dalgaranga Gold Project is located 65km northwest of Mt Magnet in Western Australia's Murchison region. The project features a 2.5Mtpa carbon-in-leach processing facility and includes the recently discovered high-grade Pepper Gold Deposit, which currently hosts an Inferred Resource of 438koz at 7.66g/t Au. The project sits within a 6km long mineralized corridor with multiple emerging high-grade discoveries.
Program Details:
Three diamond drill rigs are currently dedicated to infilling and extending the Pepper deposit as part of the "Target P1M" program. The drilling is designed to rapidly upgrade the existing Inferred Resource while adding new high-grade ounces at depth. The program has also identified several new discoveries along the Dalgaranga Mineralized Structural Corridor.
Understanding These Results:
The latest intercepts represent some of the best results achieved at the project, with DGDH079 delivering the third-best all-time drill intercept on a gram-meter basis at 638.75 gram meters. The consistent thick, high-grade mineralization demonstrates the robust nature of the Pepper system and its potential to significantly expand the current resource base.
Management Commentary:
Simon Lawson, Spartan Interim Executive Chair, stated:
"With exploration gathering momentum on several fronts, Dalgaranga is well and truly moving to the next level as a 'belt-scale' high-grade gold system with genuine multi-million ounce potential."
“Our primary focus remains on growing the high-grade ounces immediately in front our processing infrastructure, specifically the 1.48Moz Never Never Gold Deposit and the recently discovered 438koz Pepper Gold Deposit."
“With three rigs now dedicated to in-filling and extending Pepper, we have again demonstrated the incredibly consistent, thick and high-grade mineralisation that we have become accustomed to in the three new in-fill/growth drill-holes released today." (quote continues)
Next Steps & Catalysts:
The company is advancing an Exploration Drill Drive from the former Gilbey's Open Pit to access underground drill platforms. Metallurgical testwork is underway on the Pepper deposit in preparation for a Feasibility Study and Maiden Ore Reserve planned for release in first half of CY25.
Commodity Outlook:
Gold continues to maintain strong fundamentals in Western Australia's Murchison region, a premier mining jurisdiction with established infrastructure and processing capabilities. The high-grade nature of the mineralization positions the project favorably within the current gold price environment.
Conclusion:
The latest results from Pepper demonstrate the potential for significant resource growth at Dalgaranga, with multiple new high-grade discoveries emerging along the mineralized corridor. With three drill rigs operating and underground access development underway, the project is advancing rapidly toward its goal of establishing a sustainable, high-grade gold operation.
