Project Overview:
The Tabba Tabba Project is strategically located just 80km by road from Port Hedland in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The project sits within granted Mining Leases and is positioned near world-class lithium operations, being 47km from Pilbara Minerals' 414Mt Pilgangoora Project and 87km from Mineral Resources' 259Mt Wodgina Project. The Leia pegmatite extends for 2.2km along strike and outcrops from surface.
Program Details:
The current drilling program has completed approximately 90,310m of drilling, comprising 228 RC holes (52,874m) and 89 diamond drill holes (37,436m). The program has defined a 3.2km long LCT pegmatite field hosting six significant pegmatite bodies. Mineralization has been intercepted to more than 500m vertical depth, with the system remaining open.
Understanding These Results:
The reported intersections demonstrate exceptional widths and grades, with consistent mineralization across the deposit. The thick, tabular nature of the Leia pegmatite differentiates it from typical deposits that consist of smaller 5-15m wide pegmatites. This geometry is expected to be beneficial for potential mining scenarios by maintaining grade with minimal dilution.
Management Commentary:
Managing Director AJ Saverimutto stated:
“Today's drill results continue to give us confidence that there are higher grade zones in Leia not previously defined. Our understanding of the pegmatite increases as infill drilling progresses. In the upcoming period, we will continue to drill Leia whilst also exploring the Luke discovery to unlock its potential, and maintain an aggressive program of drilling new search spaces across Tabba Tabba. Shareholders can also look forward to our maiden drill programs at both Bolt cutter East and Pilgangoora North, pending finalisation of the heritage surveys.”
Next Steps & Catalysts:
Wildcat will continue aggressive exploration drilling at the Luke Pegmatite while maintaining resource and extension drilling at Leia. The company is progressing toward a maiden Mineral Resource estimate and commencement of a Pre-Feasibility Study. Additional drill results are pending from 3,324 samples from 19 diamond holes and 25 RC holes.
Commodity Outlook:
Lithium continues to be a critical mineral for the global energy transition, with hard-rock spodumene deposits in tier-1 jurisdictions like Western Australia being particularly strategic. The project's proximity to established infrastructure and operating mines enhances its development potential.
Conclusion:
The latest results from Leia demonstrate the potential for a world-class pegmatite-hosted lithium deposit, characterized by exceptional widths and consistent grades. With $90.1 million in cash at the end of Q3, Wildcat is well-funded to continue its aggressive exploration and development program at Tabba Tabba.
